Lunch recognizing Claude Williford
Please mark your calendars for our 5th Sunday, One Combined Worship, at August 30 at 10:00 a.m. As we usually do, we will have a Potluck Meal afterwards in Fellowship Hall. This will be a special event as we will also be recognizing Claude Williford for faithfully serving as our sexton for the last 56 years. Some of his family is expected to be with us as well for the meal. The Mutual Ministry Committee will be presenting Claude with a monetary gift from the congregation. If you would like to contribute to this gift, please place your donation in the offering plate this coming Sunday or August 23 and designate it for “Claude Williford,” or you may mail your gift to the church. Note: The Fellowship Committee will be providing the meat, beverages and cake. Please bring a dish or two to share.
