08/23/2026 Weekly Congregational Update
Dear Members and Friends of the Congregation,
Here are this week’s updates to pass along to you:
- A big thank you for donating frozen casseroles for the Calvary Home for Children the past two weeks. Together, 34 casseroles were dropped off, which is the largest number we have ever donated!
- Sunday, I will be preaching on the gospel reading, Matthew 16:13-20, as we explore the most important question Jesus ever asked, “Who do you say that I am?”
- Don’t forget that we will be having One-Combined Worship on August 30, as a 5th Sunday, at 10:00 a.m. A Potluck Meal will follow the worship service as we thank Claude Williford for serving as our sexton for the past 56 years. We will be giving Claude a financial gift from the congregation. If you would like to contribute to this gift, this coming Sunday is the last day to do so. Just make your check out to Holy Trinity with “Claude Williford Gift” in the memo line, and drop it off into the offering plate.
