4/19/26 Weekly Congregational Update

Dear Members and Friends of Holy Trinity,

Here are this week’s updates to pass along to you:

  • Lee Moody was able to return home on Monday evening, following his open-heart surgery.  Thank you for your prayers!

  • We celebrate with new grandparents, Virgil and Mary Ann Hobbs on the birth of a granddaughter, Mary Evelyn Everett, early in the morning of April 12. Parents, Ali and Tyler Everett,  are doing well.

  • Saturday of this week, the Crafty Ladies will be meeting in Fellowship Hall, beginning at 9:00 a.m.  You are invited to bring your favorite craft or hobby to work on.  Space will be provided.

  • This coming Sunday will be Youth Sunday, when the youth of our congregation will be leading our worship services.  I will be preaching on the Road to Emmaus story, recorded in our gospel reading, Luke 24:13-35.

  • As is our tradition for Youth Sunday, we will be using the blue With One Voice hymnal.

  • On Wednesday of next week, we are kicking off something new.  On behalf of the Health Ministry Committee, Amy Goodson will be leading a quarterly gathering to discuss different health topics.  Our first topic will be diabetes and our speaker will be Julianna Lyle from Clemson Cooperative Extension.  Lunch will be provided.  We start at 11:00 a.m.   Come join us!

In Christ,

Pastor Fischer
