4/12/26 Weekly Congregational Update
Dear Members and Friends,
Here are this week’s updates to pass along to you:
- We continue to keep in our prayers, Lee Moody, who underwent open heart surgery on Monday (Greenville Memorial Hospital) to have two heart valves replaced. He is doing great.
- After staying at The Garden House for the last 6 months or so, Bob Vinson returned home this past Tuesday.
- Our Easter attendance at both worship services this past Sunday was stupendous! We had 93 at the 7:00 a.m. Sunrise Service and 92 at the 11:00 a.m. Service!
- This Saturday morning, April 11, our Congregational Litter Pick Up will take place. Even if you didn’t sign up, we would love to have you join us. We will gather in the Home Goods parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and clean along Fritz Drive and surrounding areas. All supplies will be provided.
- If you paid for an Easter lily and have not yet picked it up from the sanctuary, please do after this Sunday’s worship services.
- The scripture readings for the Sunday after Easter always includes the story of “Doubting Thomas.” I will be preaching on the gospel text, John 20:19-31, as we look at how the resurrection of Christ continues to give us hope each day.
- The next Luther’s Ladies Circle meeting will be Thursday of next week in Fellowship Hall (6:00 p.m.).
In Christ,
Pastor Fischer
