8/17/25 Weekly Congregational Updates

Dear Members and Friends of Holy Trinity,

 

Here are this week’s updates to pass along to you:

 

  • Sunday, I will be preaching on the Second Reading of Hebrews 11:29-12:2, where we read the interesting thought that you and I are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on.  What does that mean for you?

  • Even though it is still 2 and ½ weeks away, I just wanted to give you a heads up that the last Sunday of this month, with it being a 5th Sunday, we will have One Combined Worship Service at 10:00 a.m. This will be followed by a Potluck Meal.  Yes, this will be Labor Day weekend and some folks might have travel plans, but if you do not, come and worship and fellowship with us as we gather to eat.  Please bring a dish to share.  Note: the meat will be provided by the church.

  • For your calendar, please reserve the following dates:
    • The Musical Revue, Maddi, will be coming to our Fellowship Hall, Friday, September 26 and then again on Saturday, September 27.  Several of our church members will be in this performance. 
    • September 21 – October 26, Jane Cahaly will be leading a 6-week course, “How To Give Your Faith Away.”
    • Our Congregational Deutchesfest will take place October 4, from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
