6/8/25 Weekly Congregational Update

Dear Members and Friends,

Here are this week’s updates for you:

  • This coming Sunday is Pentecost Sunday.  The color for the day is red, if you would like to wear something with red in it.  Since this is a festival Sunday, we will be celebrating Holy Communion.

  • I will be preaching on the giving of the Holy Spirit, recorded in the First Reading (Acts 2:1-21) and the Gospel Reading (John 14:8-27).

  • Vacation Bible School, for children ages 3 – 5th grade, begins Monday as we again team up with Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.

  • We continue to receive food donations for our Saturday Servants project in July.  Each week in the bulletin, the list is updated and all items are carried over to Fellowship Hall, due to space restrictions.

  • Several of you have asked for the address for Jan House.  The internet lists two address for National Health Care.  Her address is: Jan House, 1501 E. Greenville Street, Room 502 (B), Anderson SC 29621.
