12/27/20 Congregational Updates

Dear Members and Friends of Holy Trinity,

Here are a few congregational updates to pass along to you:

  • The Christmas Eve worship services went very well and were well attended, even with COVID threatening us.  The attendance for the four services were:  11:00 AM – 28, 3:00 PM – 27, 8:00 PM – 33, 11:00 PM – 46.  A big thank you goes out to Jill Helgeson and those who provided the solos:  Jay Bannister, Beth Cribbe, Sue Rasche, Amy Goodson and Virgil Hobbs.
  • If you missed these services, they are still on the church website.
  • Jake Walters is now at the Summit Place, and may transfer to the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home at a later date.
  • Christmas may have come and gone but we continue to be in the season of Christmas until Epiphany, January 6.  I will be preaching on the gospel text tomorrow, Luke 2:22-40 as we explore how life goes on, even after Christmas.  You will notice the sermon was accidentally omitted from the email bulletin for tomorrow but the title is: “NOW WHAT? – LIFE AFTER CHRISTMAS.”

In Christ,

Pastor Fischer
