1/11/26 Weekly Congregational Update
Dear Members and Friends of Holy Trinity,
Here are this week’s updates to pass along to you:
- Some of you have reached out to me about the January newsletter. It was dropped off at the post office last week but is running behind due to the holidays. Hopefully, your copy will arrive soon.
- I am happy to report that we met our budget in 2025! Thank you for your generosity in supporting the ministry we do together through Christ at Holy Trinity.
- This coming Sunday is The Baptism of Our Lord Sunday, when we focus on the baptism of our Lord and what it means to us. I will be preaching on the Gospel text, Matthew 3:13-17.
- On Wednesday of next week, our Family Fun Night will take place at 5:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.
- On Thursday, a week from today, the ladies of the congregation are invited to attend the monthly gathering of the Luther’s Ladies Circle in Fellowship Hall (6:30 p.m.).
- We are now down to 6 remaining dates for Altar Flowers for 2026. If you are interested in any of the dates, please send me a REPLY, and I will share your information with Pat on Monday when she returns to the church office. They are:
- June 21
- June 28
- August 9
- August 16
- November 29
- December 6
- We keep in our prayers:
- Jeanette Thoms, who continues her stay at National Health Care
- Janice Davenport, who was moved to TerraBella Senior Living (formerly Marchbanks), this past week.
In Christ,
Pastor Fischer
