06/12/22 Weekly Congregatinal Updates
Dear Members and Friends of Holy Trinity,
Here are this week’s update to pass along to you:
- With the volume of water bottles that is expected for Saturday Servants, we are asking all water donations to be placed in the stairwell of Fellowship Hall. If you enter the building from the side door using the door code (Oakland Street entrance) you will see the collection area there.
- When I returned home from this past Sunday’s service, confirming three of our young people, my son Joshua reminded me that Landen Moody is the first person I have baptized and confirmed in my 13 years serving Holy Trinity.
- This Sunday is Holy Trinity Sunday, when we focus of the theme of one God in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is the one time of the year when we use the Athanasian Creed and read it in parts during the worship service.
- A reminder that Sunday is the last day to make a donation In Memory Of or In Honor of your father. All names will be listed in the bulletin on Sunday, June 19th. All monies received will be given to the South Carolina Lutheran Men in Mission. You may either fill out of the form in the bulletin Sunday and drop it in the offering plate or send Pat the information by Sunday evening via her email address or leave a message on the church answering machine.
- While the Special Olympics are going on now in Florida, we have one of our own there, in Cathy Rudisill. Go Cathy!!!
- Someone left a pair of eye glasses in the sacristy this past Sunday. We left them where they were found. Hopefully, the owner doesn’t need them to drive or read emails.
See you Sunday!
