Mission

arked with the cross of Christ forever, we are claimed, gathered and sent for the sake of the world. This is the mission statement of the ELCA. As members of the ELCA, we believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. With our hands, we do God’s work of restoring and reconciling communities in Jesus’ name throughout the world.

Our Lutheran Liturgy:
The Liturgy used in our worship is founded on the Holy Scriptures. Liturgy means “work of the people.” Our tradition recognizes that the presiding minister is not the only leader in worship. The emphasis is on shared leadership. A liturgical worship is not something that the pastor does while the people watch but is an action shared by all who assemble for worship.
