DESCRIPTION:Dear Members and Friends of the Congregation\, \n  \nGreetings on this day!  Here are this week’s updates: \n  \n\nThis Sunday will be Pentecost Sunday.  You are invited to wear the color red\, the color of the day.\n\nWe will be confirming three of our young people:  Landen Moody\, Katelin Passow\, and Lucy Roehrs at the Late Service.\n\nWe will be recording the Late Service so that the families of these three youth may participate via long distance.\n\nI will be preaching on our New Testament reading this day\, Acts 2:1-21 and ask you to contemplate the blessing of God’s people being able to gather together\, from all corners of the world\, in one place\, in their language.\n\nWe are now accepting food donations of individual snack size bags of snacks\, peanut butter\, grape jelly\, mayonnaise\, Little Debbie cakes\, and cases of bottle water (this is a new item) for our Saturday Servants event in July.  The quantities and specifics are listed in your weekly bulletin and your June edition of The Messenger.  These items are to be placed in the plastic tote labeled in the room off the narthex.  You can enter the church at your convenience using the door code.  Please be mindful\, that due to the weight and quantity\, we are asking that the cases of water are to be dropped off in the Fellowship Hall kitchen.
