However even he spent decades of his life seeking to disprove something he knew to be true! He like many today\, both young and old are searching for the meaning and purpose of life.\nWant to know where the search by the world’s wisest man led him and what he ultimately concluded? Then mark your calendars and come join a six-week Sunday night Bible study of Ecclesiastes starting September 9th in the Fellowship Hall from 6-8 PM! This study lead by the popular\, syndicated radio and television Bible teacher\, Dr. David Jeremiah will walk through Ecclesiastes verse by verse and explain Solomon’s observations and implementations and show how they failed—until he got it right! DESCRIPTION:WALKING WITH THE JESUS \nAs the seasons begin to change\, we will once again look at small steps\nwe can take to improve our health. This year\, we will be using the\nWalking with Jesus Bible study starting Saturday\, September 22nd\, through October 27th. Participants will use the materials to re-trace Jesus’ travels and life throughout the week while walking and taking\nsmall steps to healthier lifestyle habits. The group will meet each\nSaturday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall to discuss our\njourney and to get tips on diet\, stress reduction and more. We will then walk as a group around the neighborhoods of the church. In order to have enough devotional books for all\, please sign up on the sheet in the narthex. This year\, we are including all levels of fitness as well offering a “parking lot pedestrians” for those who are less agile or have other mobility issues. This group will walk in the parking lot and learn other simple chair exercises. Won’t you join us? For more information\, please contact Amy Goodson\, Faith Community Nurse.

DESCRIPTION:Monthly Beer and Hymn’s \nFollowing the tradition of Martin Luther\, Lutheran Churches across our country have been hosting events that have come to be known as “Beer and Hymns”. Beer and Hymns is a fun\, family-friendly event where we join together on a Sunday evening singing great hymns and gospel praises while enjoying Martin Luther’s favorite beverage. Festivities will kick off our version of Beer and Hymns at 6 PM inside Anderson’s brewery Carolina Bauernhaus located at 115 West Federal Street (park behind the Arts Center). Brenda McGowan\, Sharon Christmas and Jay Bannister have offered their musical talents to make the experience a joyous event. We are hopeful to continue this ministry and gather together every third Sunday of the month with the community in faith and fellowship. Come join us!

However even he spent decades of his life seeking to disprove something he knew to be true! He like many today\, both young and old are searching for the meaning and purpose of life.\nWant to know where the search by the world’s wisest man led him and what he ultimately concluded? Then mark your calendars and come join a six-week Sunday night Bible study of Ecclesiastes starting September 9th in the Fellowship Hall from 6-8 PM! This study lead by the popular\, syndicated radio and television Bible teacher\, Dr. David Jeremiah will walk through Ecclesiastes verse by verse and explain Solomon’s observations and implementations and show how they failed—until he got it right!
