Lenten Worship and Supper Schedule

THE BODY OF CHRIST
A SERIES OF SPECIAL SERVICES FOR LENT
“And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
We say it so often but how often do we actually think about the words, “God has become one of us — human”? This is a radical statement and yet because God has walked this earth through Jesus, God knows our hurts and needs. Jesus knew joy, friendship, anger, hunger, thirst, betrayal, pain and suffering, and death.
During our mid-week Lenten services, we who are the Body of Christ in God’s world today, will meditate thoughtfully on the human body with which our Lord first brought God’s saving love to the world:
+ THE FEET OF CHRIST to lead the way. +
+ THE HANDS OF CHRIST to help and heal. +
+ THE MOUTH OF CHRIST to speak God’s Word. +
+ THE EARS OF CHRIST to hear our prayers. + “,…..__./
+ THE EYES OF CHRIST to see our needs. +
+ THE HEART OF CHRIST beating with love. +
